Features and ApplicationsYR series wound-rotor three-phase induction motors are the latest products to our national unified design. The mounting dimensions and rating outputs comply with the IEC standards.
By inserting a resistance in the rotor circuit, the motors can output a higher starting torque with a lower starting current, as well as the speed can be adjusted in a narrow range. They can be applied where higher starting torque or limited speed adjustment. They are more suitable in case power supply is insufficient to bring a cage-rotor motor into operation. They are used to drive the machines such as hoist, press for extracting sugar, rubber-working machinery, paper machine etc.
YR series motors possess the merits of high efficiency, overloading capacity, reliable structure and attractive appearance.
The protection class IP44 means totally enclosed. The motors can be protected from the damage caused by excessive dust, water-splashing or slight corrosive gases.
The structure of protection class IP23 can prevent protection class IP23 can prevent particles greater than 12mm in diameter or water drops inclined at an angle of 0°, to 60°, to the vertical line from entering the motors. Besides, YR (IP23) motors can output more kilowatts than YR(IP44) motors of the same frame size.
We can also offer products of other rated voltage below 500V, 60Hz, other class of insulation such as F or H, other mounting arrangement or operating conditions such as on ship, in humid-tropical climate (TH) etc. to meet a variety of requirements of different users.
